TNGOs threatens another strike

The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association has threatened to launch another general strike if the State Government fails to honour the promises it made with the Telangana employees to end the 42-day long general strike.

Talking to reporters at TNGOs Bhavan, Association president Swamy Goud said that the employees were ready to go for another strike if the government does not honour its promises. He said on February 21, the employees would hold lunch-hour demonstrations. Rallies would be held across the region, on February 28. A massive dharna would be organised on March 3 and the employees would observe Work Rule on March 5.

Goud said that the Chalo Hyderabad rally would be organised on March 20 and if the government still fails to fulfill the promises made to the employees, the employees would go for another general strike. (INN)
