TNGOs to donate one-day salary for CMRF

Telangana NGOs President Devi Prasad has informed that all the employees of State Government would participate in the campaigns to create awareness among the people about Mission Kakatiya and Water Grid projects.

Speaking to media persons after attending the TNGOs General Body meeting here on Tuesday, Devi Prasad said that it has been decided to donate one day salary towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a thanksgiving for the 43% fitment announced by State Government for the staff. Further, he said that the government employees would participate in awareness campaigns for Mission Kakatiya, Water Grid and other schemes on Sundays. He said that employees would maintain friendly and cordial relationship with the State Government.

Devi Prasad also welcomed the decision of Andhra Pradesh Government to give 43% fitment to its employees and congratulated Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the same. He said KCR has become a role model for AP Chief Minister in terms of employees’ welfare.

He also urged the Centre to hasten the process of bifurcation of employees. He said early completion of the process would stabilise both the governments. (INN)
