Telangana Municipal Employees’ Association (TMEA) has taken a serious exception to the election of ED Vijayarama Raju to Telangana Municipal Commissioners’ Association and Mamata to Telangana Gazetted Women’s Cell.
In a pressnote here on Wednesday, TMEA president L. Taj Mohan Reddy questioned the election of Seemandhra settlers to lead Telangana unions which were formed to protect interests and service matters of the Telangana employees. He lamented that some selfish Telangana leaders were giving leadership to the Seemandhra settlers and insulting the sons of the soil.
Taj Mohan Reddy alleged that Telangana employees suffered great injustices in various directorates and commissionerates in the Secretariat for the past 56 years. He also questioned wisdom of Telangana Political JAC convener Prof. Kodandaram sharing dais with such Andhra employees. He also disclosed that the TMEA would knock the doors of High Court over the controversial GO No.421 which paved the way for illegal promotions. (NSS)
