TJS confirms names of seven candidates

Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samiti here on Sunday confirmed names for seven candidates, who will be contesting in the December 7 Assembly elections. TJS president Prof M Kodandaram has given ‘B Forms’ to these candidates.

Those given B-forms are: Janardhan Reddy from Medak, Bhavani Reddy from Siddipet, Rajkumar from Dubbak, Dilip Kumar from Malkajgiri, Innaiah from Warangal (East), Vidyadhar Reddy from Miryalguda and Rajender Reddy from Mahbubnagar. The party was yet to take a decision on its nominees for Wardhannapet and Amberpet constituencies. Candidates for these two constituencies are also expected to be announced any moment. If the party declare two more names, it means that the TJS will contest from nine constituencies instead of eight allotted by Congress to it as part of seat-sharing arrangement. Monday, November 19, is the last date for filing of nominations.
