TJAC Urges Narayana To Convince Naidu On T

Telangana Political JAC leaders met CPI State secretary Dr K Narayana here on Thursday and requested him to prevail upon TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu to give clarity on the Telangana issue. They told him that if the TDP gave clarity, all of them could bring pressure and agitate against the Congress party.

The TJAC leaders requested Narayana to take the responsibility of convincing Naidu and said it would be possible to isolate Congress, if the TDP wrote a letter supporting Telangana.

The CPI leader advised them that they could wait for some more time as Naidu was stating that he would give one more letter supporting Telangana to the Union government.

On the request of the TJAC to join it, Narayana has said he would have to discuss it in the party. He said that new problems would arise if his party joins the JAC that has several other parties. He, however, assured that his party would support all the activities of the JAC.

TJAC convener Prof. Kodandaram told the media later that Narayana has also assured CPI’s support for the “Telangana March” proposed on September 30. He said that Narayana has promised that they would get the support of his party leaders and workers. He said that no force on earth would be able to stop Telangana from being a reality. Narayana has also said that his party would support all the programs of the TJAC. (NSS)
