Is the Telangana JAC, after its resounding success in organizing the “ Sagara Haram” march on Necklace Road on September 30, now moving towards the saffron brigade by slowly discarding the pink party ?.
This question assumed importance in the wake of the T-JAC leaders calling on the BJP leaders and holding discussion on Thursday.
It is to be remembered here that the T-JAC headed by Prof. Kodandaram and packed with leaders of various employees union leaders is undoubtedly the brainchild of TRS headed by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao. As matter of fact TJAC has earned the dubious distinction of being the frontal organization of the TRS and mouth piece of KCR.
However of late all is not well between TRS and TJAC and slowly and steadily the wedge widened further, which openly came to the fore during the Telangana march on September 30. While the TJAC was in the forefront in organizing the march , there was like warm response from the TRS. What is more the TRC extended support to the march for name sake and that too at the eleventh hour besides KCR parked himself in New Delhi.
On the other hand the BJP and the leftist parties were actively involved in mobilizing people for the march and make it a grand success. During the speeches KCR and his pink party members came in for criticism.
As if to strengthen speculations that the TJAC is now moving towards the saffron brigade, its leaders today called on the BJP leaders including the State BJP President Mr. G. Kishen Reddy and held parleys. After the meeting the TNGOs leader Mr. Swamy Goud said that the TJAC leaders had called on the BJP leaders to express thanks for extending massive support to the march. They had also sought the cooperation and support of the BJP in the future also . He lashed out at the government for foisting cases against the JAC leaders and not against the politicians.
Mr. Kishen Reddy asserted that the B JP would extend full support and cooperation to any agitational programmes being planned by the TJAC.(NSS).
