TJAC chief faults govt for constructing new tank in every village

TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram has opined that drought hit areas would be benefited if Palamuru-Rangareddy project was taken up in western direction.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Kodandaram asked the state government to tell as to what was the need to construct new water tanks in every village as every village has water tanks already. He ridiculed that the government was wasting public money for the sake of unwanted prestige. He said that the government was not considering the constructive suggestions of the JAC and seeing the JAC as an enemy.

The state government was making different statements every day, he said and informed that the JAC will conduct its conferences on June 4 and 5 in Warangal. (NSS)
