TJAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram has said it was not correct on the part of contractor to erect high tension power towers in the lands of farmers in Kandi mandal in Sangareddy district without the permission of farmers.
On Tuesday, Kodandaram visited the lands where high tension power towers were erected. Speaking to the media later, the TJAC leader alleged that the contractor concerned was violating the norms of giving compensation to the farmers as per the value of land. He said the TJAC was extending full support to the agitating farmers and demanded that the State government give adequate compensation to the farmers. (NSS)
