New Delhi, December 29: Former Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari, who quit over allegations of his involvement in a sex scandal, today claimed his resignation is not an admission of guilt and that new technologies were made use of by a Telugu channel to combine some footages to malign him.
Tiwari said also he did not want to embarass Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi over the issue which kicked up a storm last week.
“She(Sonia) knows already I think and Manmohan Singh ji also very well known, I do not want to embarrass them,” Tiwari told CNN-IBN.
Tiwari said he was not involved in any scandal after a Telugu channel aired explicit footage of a man purported to be the former union minister with three women.
