TITA celebrates State Formation Day

Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) today celebrated the Telangana State Formation Day at T Hub with a large group of IT professionals. They fired crackers, distributed sweets and raised slogans of “Jai Telangana”. The IT professionals took out a Triumph Rally to Telangana Martyrs Memorial at Gun Park. Opposite Assembly building and paid rich tributes to Telangana Martyrs.

“TITA was formed before the bifurcation of Telangana State and actively participated in the Telangana movement. TITA Telangana Yuva Nirmaan’ program was started. Till date, TITA gave awareness on Emerging Technologies and showed the methodologies of IT approach to more than 50,000 graduates, said Sundeep Kumar Makthala, TITA founder-president.

“After formation of Telangana State, TITA celebrated Telangana renowned festivals Bonalu Jatara and Bathukamma with a large gathering and showed the importance of Telangana Culture. TITA worked on women safety activities along with Cyberabad police. For the benefit of natural environment and humans, TITA initiated a program called ‘TITA Green Pledge’, which educates and make aware of the importance of environment. With ‘TITA Telangana YUVA Nirmaan’ program, TITA reached Universities like Osmania University, JNTU Hyderabad, and many engineering colleges of Telangana state and created awareness on cutting edge technologies and importance of soft skills. Mainly, Entrepreneurship skill development which is focused in ‘TITA Telangana Yuva Nirmaan’ got accolades. First time ever, in collaboration with Telangana State Police Officers’ Association, TITA executed Telangana Yuva Nirmaan program twice, and reached Tier 2 cities of Telangana.

The aim of the TITA is to prepare 10,000 digital leaders (trainers), who in turn, will impart digital literacy knowledge to 10,000 people in the first phase. Under Digithon initiative, TITA adopted Basar village in Adilabad district and successfully completed the mission of digitizing Basar, thus bestowing Basar a remarkable achievement of “First 100% Digital Literate Village” in Telangana State.  Similarly, TITA adopted Narsingapur in Nizamabad District & Ghattuppal in Nalgonda District and achieved 100% Digital Literacy. Now, TITA expanded its Chapters in almost all Major IT Companies and NRI’s from United States, Canada, Australia and Middle-East,” said Makthala

            “The postulated sequence of developments undertaken by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao is highly appreciable. Right from the ground level by initiating Mission Kakatiya, Launching Wi-Fi all over the city, planning afoot to digital literacy, till the expansion of IT Industry by attaining MOU’s with IT Majors like Google, Amazon, Apple, etc., and making Hyderabad a key IT destination of the country, Telangana Government is successful.” said Makthala.

TITA Joint Secretary Nagaraju Marayala, Ravi Anthony, Membership Committee vice-chairman Swamy Deva, Corporate wing vice chairman Naresh Kumar, organizing secretary IT Professional Wing Vivek Boddam, Yadagiri, Shankar Dhoti, Spokesperson Venkata Vanam, Praveen Madipoju, Ravinder Ryada, Lakshminarayan TITA Women’s Wing members Tejaswini, Pallavi, Madhavi, Srilatha and many other IT professionals participated in the celebrations.   (NSS)
