Tirumala, February 04: The second ghat road from Tirupati to Tirumala will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 am to 6 pm everyday from February 11 to March 31 for taking up repair works of the road.
According to TTD officials, laying of BT road works costing Rs 4.5 crore will commence from Sri Vinayaka Temple at the beginning of the second ghat road to the GNC toll gate on Tirumala _ a length of about 15.5 km.
The link road works will also be taken up between February 7 and 10. However, there will be no restriction on vehicular traffic during the four days.
