Times Now ‘theft’ suit: Delhi HC issues notice to Arnab Goswami

New Delhi: Delhi High Court has issued a notice to Arnab Goswami, former Editor-in-Chief of Times Now channel, in a case pertaining to the alleged breach of employment contract and misusing intellectual property of Times Now.

According to the news published in India Samvad, the suit was filed against him after Republic TV covered a story on Sunanda Pushkar’s death. Times Now claims that the tapes played during the story were obtained by Goswami when he was their employee.

Earlier, FIR under many sections of IPC and IT Act, 2000 was launched against Goswami and Sridevi.

It may be mentioned that after serving as Editor-in-Chief of Times Now, Arnab Goswami recently started his own media venture, Republic TV.
