Balladeer’ Gaddar has appealed to anti-corruption activists to launch agitation from village to Delhi level to curb corruption in the society.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, Gaddar exhorted the women to join the agitation and spread it every nook and corner in the country. He demanded that the Centre bring back black money, which was stashed in the Swiss Banks. He said that the people were discussing about corruption after anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare and Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba spearheaded the agitation.
Former Union Home secretary Padmanabhaiah appealed to the people to come forward and intensify agitation to mount pressure on the Central government to bring strong Lokpal Bill in the next Parliament session. He demanded that the Centre expedite disposal of cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, FERA/Money Laundering pending in different courts against government servants, politicians and others.
State BC Welfare Association president R. Krishnaiah has demanded that the Centre bring about electoral reforms in the country. He said that development would be possible only when corruption in politics was curbed. Alleging that political leaders were looting public money in the country, he demanded that the Centre declare the black money amounting to Rs 400 lakh crores as National Wealth.
Bharat Swabhiman State chief coordinator G. Sridhar Rao has demanded that the Union government introduce a new system of governance in order to curb parallel economy of black money in real estate, mining, narcotic drugs and politics. He also urged the Union government to demonetize currency notes of denomination of Rs 1,000 and Rs 5,00 to effectively curb corruption at every level. He wanted the government to encourage Swadeshi Movement for manufacture and sale of different commodities of daily use by small scale of industries.
BJP State spokersperson NVSS Prabhakar, MLC Chandrasekhar and Telangana Gazetteed officers’ Association president K. Srinivas Goud have extended their support to the program.
