Kolkata: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu told after meeting with his Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee at the state secretariat, that the time has come for all opposition parties to fight together against the anti-people policies of BJP and to contest together in Lok Sabha elections to save the democracy and interest of the country.
Speaking at a joint press conference Mr Naidu said, “We are all senior politicians… more senior than Mr Modi”. He confirmed TDP’s participation in the January 19 rally in Kolkata.
Mamata Banerjee also echoed his thoughts saying, “We are totally together, we are all together. We are working against the BJP government.”
Mr Naidu flew down to Kolkata to talk to Mayawati regarding the strategy for 2019 elections.
