Now the time has come for 100 crore Hindus of this country to be united. All those powers who collided with the Hindus have been buried underground. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Keshava Raj, leader of VHP while addressing the gathering of Ganesh procession at Charminar. Sitting on the dais were All India Youth President of VHP Mr. Raghavendra Reddy, Mr. Bhagwat Rao, Swamy Kamalanand Bharathi, Swamy Rameshwaranand and others.
Opposing the action taken by police for putting off the microphone immediately after Zohar prayer call was announced from Makkah Masjid, Mr. Keeshav Raj bitterly criticized the police and threatened that in future if this is done there will be dire consequences. He also told that objections for putting tilak on foreheads, ringing the bells in the temples and to perform rituals will not be tolerated. Those who did this like Babar and Aurangazeb got mixed up with the earth. In addition to criticizing Moghal emperors, he also criticized Mohammed Ghori and Mahmood Ghaznavi. The leaders from the dais also told that during Nizam’s period, the Hindus were running out of fear. In the same manner, the people of Old City are running away from here and they are giving preference to inhabit in Secunderbad and other areas of the city. He stressed the need for the Hindus society to give evidence of their unity. Attempts were made by the speakers from the dais to incite people and to play with the sentiments of others. Threats were also given to the police.
