Tiger Woods, wife may file divorce case in Sweden

New York, May 12: Embattled golfer Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren have finally decided to go their separate ways and are reportedly planning to file a divorce case in a Swedish court at the end of the year to avoid the media circus.

The couple is working out agreements on child custody and division of assets and then quickly file divorce papers to end their marriage, entertainment website TMZ reported.

“Wherever the divorce is filed, the plan is to keep the custody and property settlement agreements out of the court file. We’re told the quicker and quieter the divorce, the better,” sources told TMZ.

The two are planning to file their divorce in Elin’s native Sweden in an effort to keep the details a secret from the public.

Woods has reportedly hired West Palm Beach lawyer Thomas Sasser, an expert in child custody agreements that involve more than one jurisdiction.
