New Delhi: Tiger Shroff, who is gearing up for his upcoming superhero film ‘A flying Jatt’, has branded his father Jackie Shroff as his first superhero.
In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Tiger, 26 said he loved his father’s superhero film ‘ Shiva Ka Insaaf’ and revealed it was his all-time favourite film.
“That’s my all-time favourite film from dad’s work. As a child, I used to watch that film over and over again. Every son’s first superhero is his father and it was the same for me. For me, he was Superman and Batman combined,” he said.
Recalling the time he used watch his dad doing superhero stints, the ‘Baaghi’ actor said “I loved seeing my dad play the desi superhero. It came naturally to him, he was tall, well-built and his body language automatically rendered itself to the superhero mould. I, on the other hand, had to work hard to fit in to that mould.”
‘ A flying Jatt’ has been making headlines because of its comparison with Hrithik Roshan’s superhero ‘Krrish’ franchise
Remo D’Souza’s directorial, which stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nathan Jones, is slated to hit theatres on August 25 this year. (ANI)
