Melbourne, December 23: A New report has emerged that Tiger Woods and New York showclub host Rachel Uchitel have resumed their relationship.
In Touch magazine has reported on its website that Woods, who turns 34 next week, has been seeing Uchitel, 34, in Florida near where he docks his yacht Privacy.
The magazine, quoting an unnamed friend of Uchitel, reported Woods was still involved in a sexual relationship with Uchitel, who was in the same Melbourne hotel as Woods when he competed in the Australian Masters last month.
“They have been sleeping together the entire time since the scandal broke,” the source told In Touch. “They hooked up in a condo she has been staying at Palm Beach. She’s madly in love with him and she believes that he loves her as well.”
It was a report about Uchitel’s relationship with Woods that set the stage for the firestorm which has followed.
Uchitel had called a news conference earlier this month but cancelled, reportedly after being paid more than $1.14 million by Woods for her silence.
Woods has admitted cheating on wife Elin Nordegren, while at least 14 women have claimed to have had affairs with him.
Nordegren has reportedly hired a Hollywood divorce lawyer with possible losses in a divorce deal for Woods, a 14-time major champion, estimated at more than $342 million.
His estranged wife is also seeking custody of their children, two-year-old daughter Sam and 10-month-old son Charlie.
But Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer, which had announced it was pulling images of Woods from US advertising, is now backing Woods with a huge photo of him on its website with the words “Tag Heuer stands with Tiger Woods”.
