Tiger captured in UP district

Farrukhabad (UP), October 14: A tiger, which had created terror in parts of the district for past few days, was finally captured by a Forest department team here today.

A photo journalist and five others sustained injuries in the process, District Forest Officer D K Rao said.

The tiger was roaming in different parts of the district for past few days, creating terror among the people. It was cornered today in the jungles of Nagla Hirasingh in Nawabganj area and was tranquilised before being caught with the help of locals, Rao said.
