With Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s direction the State government today declared holiday on Thursday September 15 for the culmination of Ganesh idols immersion. In lieu of this, the government announced second Saturday on November 12 as a working day.
Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, in an order, said the government offices, schools and colleges located in twin cities ofHyderabad and Secunderabad and Ranga Reddy district should remain closed on Thursday being holiday. (NSS)
