Thulasi Reddy Turns Tables On Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Dr N. Thulasi Reddy here on Monday ridiculed the opt-repeated statement of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu that there was failure of law and order in the State.
Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Dr Thulasi Reddy took serious exception to Naidu describing Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy as “Kiri Kiri” Reddy. He dubbed the TDP chief as “Gaji Biji” Naidu. He also criticized Chandrababu Naidu for his total failure as chief minister for nine years.

Stating that Kiran Kumar Reddy was a straight forward person and good administrator, Dr Reddy reminded Chandrababu Naidu about closure of 56 Police Stations in the Telangana region following threats from Maoists. He also accused the former chief minister for getting innocent persons killed in the name of informers and blamed for deaths of hundreds of police personnel.

The APCC spokesperson has alleged that while Chandrababu Naidu had miserably failed even to catch “street thieves” in Tirupati during his regime, the Congress succeeded in booking cases against them. Demanding that the former chief minister disclose the details of firing in cine actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s house, Thulasi Reddy said bombs were exploded in TDP senior leader Kodela Sivaprasada Rao’s house resulting in the death of four persons.
He asserted that the Congress government had properly handled the situations like Sakala Janula Samme, Telangana March without firing a single bullet. He also appreciated the government for successfully organizing International Bio-Diversity Summit in Hyderabad.(NSS)
