On Wednesday, three youths, two of them engineering students, drowned in the Sarada River at Tummapala.The youths had ventured into the river for a bath.
The deceased were identified as Talapureddy Prudhvi Raj of Karasa, K E Amarnath of NAD area and Pappu Murali of Purushottamapuram. Amarnath, was a second-year engineering student at Maharaja College in Viziangaram, Prudhvi Raj a second-year BTech student at Vijayawada whereas Murali put an end to his studies after tenth standard.
