Three persons commit suicide

A 40-year-old centering worker committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems.

According to Chatrinaka police, the deceased, Y. Narasimha, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Marutinagar of Uppuguda on Monday night.

In another case, Ch. Venkatesh, 27, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Badangpet on Monday night. He was a sweeper and was reportedly under depression, according to Meerpet police.

In a different case, the Ramgopalpet police retrieved the body of B. Srinivas, 28, of Chintal Basti, from the Hussainsagar Lake on Tuesday. According to police, Srinivas was reportedly mentally unsound and was undergoing treatment for the last few months. On Monday, he was being taken to a hospital in an auto-rickshaw by his family members. When they reached Tank Bund, he asked them to stop the auto-rickshaw on the pretext of replying to nature call. However, he committed suicide by jumping into the lake. (INN)
