Berhampur (Orissa), February 27:At least three persons, including a 20-year-old woman, allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in separate incidents in Orissa’s Ganjam district today, police said.
They were identified as Ganesh Behera (28) of Kukudakhandi village, Shankar Mohanty (16) of Tahara village and Maya alias Pramita Gouda, wife of Srinibash of Chakatentuli village, the sources said.
The three were brought to the MKCG Medical College Hospital here after consuming poison and declared dead by doctors, sources said.
The causes of taking the step was yet to be ascertained, the police said.
