A 25-year-old succumbed to the burn injuries which he sustained after setting himself ablaze.
According to police, the deceased, A. Naveen, took the extreme step at his residence in Dabirpura on October 10 after having an argument with his wife over some trivial issue. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Monday night.
In another case, Shaik Saber, 36, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Vinayak Nagar on Monday night. He was a lorry driver and the reasons that drove him to suicide are yet to be ascertained, according to Mailardevpally police.
In a different case, S. Kavitha, 34, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling allegedly due to ill-health. She resorted to the extreme step at her residence in Madhapur on Tuesday morning. She was a labourer and hailed from Mahabubnagar district, according to Madhapur police. (INN)
