Three pedestrians, including a senior citizen, were killed in different accidents in the city.
In Gopalapuram police limits, an 80-year-old man, M Vishwaroopam, suffered grievous injuries when he was crushed by two RTC buses near Rathifile Bus Stop on Wednesday night. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was a resident of Chintal.
In another case, 37-year-old M Krishna Goud died of injuries which he suffered after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Saher Nagar on October 21. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital where he died on Wednesday night. He was a cab driver and resident of Manchal of Ranga Reddy district, according to Vanasthalipuram police.
In a separate case, G Lachu, 49, died of injuries that he suffered after being hit by a motorcycle while he was crossing the road near Nagole on Thursday morning. On being shifted to the Osmania General Hospital he was declared on admission. He was a labourer and resident of Kambalpally of Warangal district, LB Nagar police said. (INN)
