Three Pak customs officials kidnapped in Gwadar

Islamabad [Pakistan]: Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped three Pakistan custom officials from Gwadar district in Balochistan.

“Gunmen seized the vehicle of customs officials at Zero Point in Pasni tehsil of Gwadar,” the Dawn quoted Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar Tufail Baloch as saying.

Among those kidnapped were Inspector Abdul Malik and constables Muhammad Yaqoob and Hafeez.

Police and levies personnel reached the spot and started an initial investigation in to the incident.

Following the kidnapping, security was tightened at all entry and exit points to aid in the recovery of the kidnapped individuals.

There has been no claim of responsibility.
