Three persons were murdered by a group of armed men near a village here over a dispute regarding sale of sand, police said today.
The incident took place at village Barda.
According to the police, one Rajendra Rajput and his family members had a dispute with local residents Bapusingh
Mankar, Jagmohan and Jalam Singh over the issue of selling sand at a lower rate.
Last night they fought over the issue following which Rajput and his associates attacked the trio with sharp-edged
weapons and killed them, Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra told reporters.
Police have arrested four accused and were searching for others who fled from the village after the incident.
A case has been registered and further probe was on.
