Three more swine flu cases reported in Nepal

Kathmandu, August 11: Three more swine flu cases have been confirmed in Nepal with this total number of persons infected with the H1N1 virus has increased to 20.

All three persons infected with the deadly virus are males among them two persons are 22, 31 years and have just returned from Dubai while the third one is 45 and has arrived from U.K., according to health ministry officials.

“The victims have already been admitted to the swine flu treatment centre at Teku Hospital,” Deputy Director of Avian Influenza Control Project Jitendra Man Shrestha said.

The government has installed swine flu test facilities at the Tribhuvan International Airport and main checkpoints in Nepal-India border.

No swine flu deaths have been reported in Nepal so far.
