In separate cases, three persons, including a woman, were killed in road accidents at different places in the city and its outskirts.
In the first case, 50-year-old M Srinivasulu, an employee of rice mill, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on January 8 after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle while he was crossing the road near his workplace in Ibrahimpatnam police limits. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died last night. He was a resident of Balapur.
In a similar case, Ch Yadaiah, 55, died of injuries which he suffered on January 10 after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near his residence in Turkapally in Shamirpet police limits. He died at the Gandhi Hospital on Friday night.
In another case, 35-year-old Yadamma succumbed to the injuries which she sustained on January 4 when the motorcycle, on which she was a pillion rider, was hit by another motorcycle near Ghatkesar crossroads. Her husband, Surender, who was riding the bike was killed on the spot. She was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where she died on Friday night. (INN)
