Three killed in road accidents

A 58-year-old man was killed on the spot after he was hit by a private bus in Panjagutta police limits.

The victim, Subba Rao, the manager of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, was hit by a private bus while he was waiting for bus at Erramanzil stop on Saturday night. He was a resident of Panjugutta.

In another case, T. Lingaiah, 35, died instantaneously after he was run over by a lorry in reverse direction. According to Miyapur police, Lingaiah was a lorry cleaner and he was giving directions to the driver for parking at an under-construction site. Due to some error of judgment the driver drove the lorry in reverse direction in full speed and Lingaiah got crushed under the rear tyre. He was a resident of Madhapur.

In a different case, G. Subramaniam, 62, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained after he was hit by a motorcycle near Sushma Theater crossroads on November 15. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Sunday. He was a retired government employee and resident of Mansoorabad in LB Nagar, according to Vanasthalipuram police.(INN)
