Barabanki, September 26: Three persons were today killed and a dozen injured when a tempo in which they were travelling collided with a bus near Pathari village here. The incident occurred when the tempo was hit by a state roadways bus on its way to Azamgarh this morning, Superintendent of Police Alok Singh said.
The injured, including six women, were admitted to a district hospital, while six others, who sustained serious injuries, have been referred to Lucknow. In another incident, a 60-year-old man was killed and two dozen injured when a tractor-trolley collided with a jeep near Gharkuinya village here last night, police said.
In a separate incident a 29-year-old youth was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Jubeha crossing, they said.
