Jaipur, March 08: Three persons were killed and 34 others injured when a bus in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck in Rajasthan’s Tonk district, 162 km from here, police said today.
“The ill-fated bus was carrying a marriage party from Jaipur to Tonk when the mishap took place in the evening hours under Barauni police station circle. The bridegroom was travelling in another vehicle,” police officials said.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where three persons were declared brought dead, they said adding that the condition of 24 of the injured was stated to be critical.
