The city police on Thursday arrested four persons, including three juveniles on the charges of kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old-girl from Bhavaninagar in the Old City.
According to the Bhavani nagar police, one of the accused was a 17 year-old-boy from Bandlaguda. He was a friend of the girl and called her to the Chandrayangutta area on Saturday on the pretext of meeting her. Accompanied by another friend, both took her and committed rape separately at an open place near Pahadishareef. The two friends violated the girl and dropped her in the evening at Chandrayangutta Bus stop and fled, Joint Commissioner of Police K. Shiva Prasad said.
The shocked girl then approached another juvenile standing at Chandrayangutta junction and sought his help requesting him to drop at her residence at Talabkatta. But the boy took her to another house at Fatehdarwaza and raped her, the official said.
Later, he introduced her to one Salman (20), an auto driver from Fatehdarwaza who promised to marry her and kept her at the same house and violated her for three days from December 14 before leaving the girl on Tuesday near her house in Bhavaninagar and fled.
The girl reached her house and narrated the entire incident to her parents after which they approached the police and lodged a complaint. The police registered a case under section 366, 376 of IPC, Criminal Amendment Act (A) 2013 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and arrested the four persons and produced them before the courts.
