Valsad, April 07: Three labourers were injured when a reactor exploded at a chemical firm and triggered fire at the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) area in Vapi today, police said.
The incident occurred when the reactor at the production unit of Aarti Chemicals developed a snag and exploded leading to a fire, they said.
Fire brigade officials, who rushed to the spot, brought the flames under control and rescued the injured, police said.
A complaint has been registered in this regard, they said.
