Three IAS officers join GHMC

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar has introduced three IAS officers who have joined in GHMC on Monday.

The Commissioner said all the three officers are well versed in their subject and served in various capacities in the government. He said that he has requested Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for which the Government has placed three IAS officers to the GHMC on priority. With these officers now the GHMC will have to work more effectively for the development of the city, he said.

The Commissioner said that P.S. Pradyumna, IAS, has served in various capacities such as Joint Collector, Warangal, CEO, Rythu Bazaars and Collector, Nizamabad. He said that Pradyumna is a very hard working and will use his energies for the development of GHMC. He also introduced Dr. Ahmed Babu as key person and back bone for much lauded “Arogyasri” programme and he is having vast knowledge in the field of Information Technology, whose ideas were given good results in Adhaar Cards and Mee seva centres.

Another IAS officer, Dr N Satyanarayana was associated with him when he was Special Officer, APUSP, the Commissioner said and his 18 years service in Municipal administration will definitely help for overall development of GHMC.
Addressing a media conference, the three officers – Pradyumna, Ahmed Babu and Dr. Satyanarayana, have expressed their willingness to work under the leadership of Senior officer Somesh Kumar and further stated that they would work up to the expectations of the Commissioner for the development of the city and to get good name to the GHMC.

The Commissioner has also introduced the new chief city planner S. Devender Reddy and said that with the inclusion of new members, the GHMC will work like a team to derive good results for making Hyderabad class one city in the country. (INN)
