Hyderabad: South Zone Task Force personnel, along with Charminar Excise Police apprehended three persons, who were selling Indian liquor as foreign branded liquor and seized 22 bottles at the instance of the accused today.
The accused were identified as Vijay Kumar Bhatiya, 52, residing at Lal Darwaja Temple, Chatrinaka, Harish Keswani, 60, of Kingkoti and Mukesh Agarwal, 54, of West Maredpally, Secunderabad.
Police said the three accused conspired to make easy money in less time. They procured empty foreign liquor bottles of various brands from five star hotels, bars and pubs and filled them with Indian made liquor and were selling the same to gullible people at exorbitant prices. The accused were nabbed and 22 bottles of local liquor were seized and handed over to the Charminar Excise police. (NSS)
