Vijayawada, December 19: Three farmers have died in Krishna district, either by heart break due to losses or by committing suicide during the past 24 years.
According to the information, one Garikapati Prabhakara Rao died due to heart attack as the yield in his farm had come down. In Ibrahimpatnam, one tenant farmer resorted to suicide due to indebtedness. In Alluru village under Veerulapadu mandal, another tenant farmer died of broken heart as he lost his crop. Another tenant farmer Panduranga Rao attempted suicide as the yield of his crop had come down drastically due to the recent untimely rains.
