Three persons of a family ended their lives consuming pesticide in Bhimavaram of Vatsavai mandal in Krishna district on Tuesday.
Financial problems are suspected to be the reason for the extreme act.
Merugu Tulasamma, 75, her son Pitchi Reddy, 50 and his aunt Rajamma, 90, lived in the same house. Both the women were suffering from ill-health. Pitchi Reddy was injured in a road accident six months ago and has been undergoing treatment. Financial problems surrounded them as all were ill. It was in this condition that the three had decided to put an end to their suffering by consuming the lethal pesticide, police suspect. (NSS)
