Three members of a family committed suicide by consuming some unknown poison at their residence in Yellareddypeta village of Adilabad district.
According to Nirmal (Rural) police, the deceased – Peddasomanna (60), his wife Bhagiratha (50) and daughter Sunitha (20) were found dead on Sunday morning at their residence in Yellareddypeta village of Nelayipeta gram panchayat. They are suspected to have consumed poison on Saturday night.
Preliminary enquiries by the police revealed that the family might have committed suicide due to financial problems. Sunitha’s engagement was scheduled on May 7 and the family could not arrange money for the same.
However, a case has been registered and further investigations are on. (INN)
