AHMEDABAD: A family of three including a teenage girl was found dead at their residence in Naroda area of Ahmedabad city. The deceased were identified as Kunal Trivedi (50), his wife Kavita Trivedi (45) and their daughter Shrin Trivedi (16), residents of Avni flats near Haridarshan cross roads in Naroda area of the city, said police inspector HB Vaghela of Naroda police station.
Sources in police said that Kunal, who was working as divisional manager in a private insurance company, first gave poison to his wife and daughter before hanging self to death. A team of forensic experts was also called at the spot to get clues. Intital probe reveals that the family was under financial crisis but the exact reasons behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
