Hyderabad: All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s Shariat Committee for ladies is organizing a three-day workshop on “Islamic Laws” from 10th to 12th May from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Masjid Alia, Gunfoundry under the patronage of Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Secretary of AIMPLB and Convener. Justice Syed Shah Mohammed Qadri, former Judge of Supreme Court will be the Chief Guest. The other speakers are Maulana Jafar Pasha, Mr. Raheemuddin Ansari, Mr. Ziauddin Naiyyar, Mufti Syed Sadiq Mohiuddin.
Ms. Sameena Subhani, President, Muslim Women’s Intellectual Forum will deliver welcome address. Prof. Ahmedullah Khan, former Dean, Faculty of Law, OU will address on “Wakf Act”.
On this occasion, Justice Syed Shah Mohammed Quadri will release the second edition of the book “Family Laws in Islam”. Dr. Syeda Lateefunnisa, former Professor of Mathematics, OU is the convener of the program.
