Anjuman Taraqui-e-Urdu is organizing a three day book fair at Urdu Hall Hyderabad from 25th to 27th January. Publishers from Hyderabad and other places will participate in the book fair. An essay writing competition will be held on Saturday 25th January for School and College students. The topic of the competition is “Importance of reading Urdu books by Younger generation”. Ms. Munawar Khatoon and Ms. Nikhat Ara will be the judges. Quiz competition will be held at 1:30 p.m. Dr. Ghouse Ali Sayeed will coordinate these competitions. On 26th January at 10 a.m. “Meet the Author” will be held in which Mr. Mustafa Ali Sarwari will advise the students, how to inculcate the habit of reading. At 12 noon, fancy dress competition will be held. The Essay writing competition will be supervised by Dr. Mohammed Khalid Mubashiruzzafar, Associate Professor of the Dept. of Translation Studies and Dr. Shahida, Associate Professor of Dept. of Women’s Studies of Maulana Azad National Urdu University. A seminar is organized on 27th January. On this occasion, prizes will be distributed.
