Congress MP Sabbam Hari haas said that three Congress MPs would extend support to the YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking to the media at the Dilkusha guest house where Jagan was being questioned for the third consecutive day on Sunday, Hari said though he knew that these three MPs were ready to extend support to Jagan, he did not know if they would personally meet him or extend their solidarity over telephone.
Hari who has come to the guest house along with Congress MLAs Alla Nani, Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, YSRC MLC Jupudi Prabhakara Rao and others laughed away when questioned about the Congress party taking disciplinary action against him. When asked if and when he would join the YSR congress, he said he would announce it soon.
When asked about the questions being asked by the CBI sleuths, Hari said he did not know what was happening inside the four walls. “You are at the media point and I am in a room upstairs. I only know as much as you know. In fact, you are better placed to know things,” Hari said.
On the possible arrest of Jagan, Hari said there might not be arrest now. He said as he was scheduled to appear before the court on Monday, he might not be arrested. Hari also said that Jagan was trying to seek exemption from personal appearance before the court and if exempted, a lawyer might appear on his behalf in the court on Monday. (NSS)
