New Delhi: Three children were killed and three others injured when a thatched wall collapsed on them in Baliyat village under Dhoraiya police station area in Bihar’s Banka district on Wednesday, a police officer said.
Some children were playing near the thatched wall of a house when the structure suddenly gave in trapping six of them under the debris, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Shashi Shankar said.
While three children, identified as Kabees (5), Khushbu (6) and Tausif, were buried alive, three others sustained injuries, he said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured children admitted to a Primary Health Centre (PHC), Shankar said.
