Three cheats arrested in Delhi for duping job aspirants

New Delhi, May 28: Police today arrested three persons for allegedly duping several employment aspirants to the tune of lakhs by offering them lucrative jobs abroad.

They were identified as Vishal Bakshi (37), Virender Prasad (37) and Vijay Kumar (43) hailing from different parts of Delhi, police said.

They were arrested from Royal Apartment in Humayunpur village on a tip off. Bakshi and Prasad, who were involved in several previous cases of similar nature, were “proclaimed offenders”, they added.

“They were involved in several cases of cheating and forgeries committed in different localities of Delhi. The gang was involved in duping unsuspecting job aspirants looking to go abroad,” South Delhi DCP HGS Dhaliwal said.

They “usually” targeted young job aspirants from different parts of the country who wanted to get jobs in foreign countries, he said.
