A case has been registered against a man and his two sons for allegedly duping a person of Rs 25 lakh of by promising him huge profit in purchase of properties, police said. One Raj Kumar in his complaint alleged that Somnath and his two sons Rajesh and Prateek duped him of Rs 25 lakh for the purchase of property in the district, police spokesman said adding, despite the payment no property was purchased. When Raj Kumar asked them to return his money, Somnath and his son thrashed him and threatened him of dire consequences, the spokesman said. According to police, a case has been registered against the three accused and the matter was being probed. PTI
