New Delhi, December 24: Three persons who allegedly robbed a businessman near ITO in central Delhi recently have been arrested, police said today.
Abid (19) and Rockey (33), hailing from Uttar Pradesh, along with Chander Kumar Meena, 25, were arrested here following a probe into the robbery case, DCP (Central) Jaspal Singh said.
One Faheem Ahmed, who deals in sale and purchase of old cars, was allegedly robbed of Rs 22,000, a mobile phone, voter and metro cards while he was going towards ITO on December 20.
According to police, the robbers assaulted Ahmed, robbed him and fled.
But as the investigations followed into the “blind robbery case”, Abid was first arrested after it came to light that the stolen mobile phone was used by him.
