Patiala, May 08: Three Army jawans were injured after the wall of an old double storied building caved-in in the cantonment area on Patiala-Sangrur road here today.
Civil officials who visited the spot said the army authorities had stated that the building was being repaired when the mishap occured. The army authorities have confirmed injuries to three jawans, civil authorities said.
The media was not allowed to visit the accident site and had to be briefed by the civil officials who were allowed in the cantonment area. The injured jawans were rescued from under the debris and admitted to the army hospital here.
