Mumbai: Nobody would be able to pose a challenge to Modi for the next 25 years said Shiv Sena on Thursday after BJP-led NDA party came back to power for the second consecutive term these LS elections.
Uddhav Thackeray’s party had previously often criticized BJP over the last five years but have now eventually sealed a fresh alliance with it just ahead Lok Sabha polls, News18 reports.
“The entire country is `Modi-may’ (in thrall of Modi),” Shiv Sena MP Raut, who also edits the Sena mouthpiece `Saamana’ told reporters here.
“The truth has to be accepted that no one could counter Modi. Today’s mandate is such that no one can counter (Modi) for the next 25 years,” he added.
“The country has reposed faith in Narendra Modi’s leadership for the next five years. He will take the country even further in five years,” he claims.
